John R. Paugh, Ii

BARBERTON---John R. Paugh II, age 60, died November 26, 2014. John was born in Barberton, Ohio where he was a life resident and a member of Prince of Peace Church. He worked in the Transportation Department Akron Public Schools for the past 20 years. John was a member of Barberton Lodge #750 F&AM, Past High Priest of Portage Chapter #202 R.A.M., Past Illustrious Master Akron Council #80 R&SM, Past Commander Akron Commandry #25 K.T. and recipient of the Knights of the York Cross of Honour. John was preceded in death by his parents John and Dorothy. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary, daughter Kelli and her fiancAC., Ian. John also leaves his brother Don and wife Patty, sisters-in-law Connie and Kathy and her husband Rick. He was an amazing "Uncle" to his nephews T.J., Joe and his wife Tara, Brooks and his niece Tiffany along with several grand nieces and nephews. He had an abundance of friends and was "Santa" to many. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in John's honor.
