John "Jt" H. Thompson

John “JT” H. Thompson, 62, passed away September 4, 2022 at Akron City Hospital.

JT was born in Madison, IN where he graduated from Southwestern High School and Hanover College. He had been an Akron area resident most of his life. JT loved Rock and Roll and playing guitar. He especially loved his dog “Lou”.

He was preceded in death by his son John Harley; father John H. and step-father Carl Blaney; He is survived by his mother Mary Lee Blaney; daughter Jessica (Dave) Osborne; son Trevor Thompson; grandchildren David and Zoe Osborne and Sophie Thompson; brother Danny Joe (Rose) Thompson; sister Beverly (Dave) Ginn; step-brother David Blaney; niece Mendy (Daniel) Goldsmith; and nephews Nick and Ethan Thompson.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
