John C. Paisley

BARBERTON---John C. Paisley, 92, passed away August 1, 2013 at Pleasant View Health Care Center.


Born in West Newton, PA, he had been a Barberton resident all his life where he retired from Midland Steel. John was a proud Marine Corp veteran having served during WWII.


Preceded in death by his wife Marcella; daughter Jean Paisley; brother Alvin; and sister Darlene Lammert; Survivors include his daughter Carol Stark; sons John C. (Beth), Thomas (Saengwan) and Bruce (Pam); 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; brothers Ronald (Patricia) and Charles; and sisters Audrey LaBella and Joan Nicholls.


Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday August 6, 2013 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday from 5-7 P.M.
