WADSWORTH/DOYLESTOWN---John C. Patton, (WD8JP), 79, passed away on February 7, 2022. John was born on September 21, 1942 in Dennison, OH and had been an area resident most of his life.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 42 years, Kathy (nee Herold); children Michelle (Andrew) Dodson, Steve (Denise) Patton and Melissa (Matt) Chase; grandchildren Camden and Jaxson Chase and Madeline and Abigail Patton. He also leaves his sister-in-law Peggy Herold; and brother-in-law’s Joe (Kathy) Herold, Pat (Joellen) Herold and Bill Herold. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Sarah; and first wife Jo Ann Patton.

John was employed by Barberton Citizens Hospital for 37 years as a Radiographic Technologist and Director of Radiology. John was also a proud Army Veteran.

John’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Pastor Barb Deibel officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown. Calling Hours, Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
