Joseph L. Pancar

BARBERTON---Joseph L. Pancar, 84, passed away August 19, 2010. Born in Forest City, Pennsylvania, he had been a Barberton resident most of his life where he retired from Seiberling Tire and Rubber Co after 33 years. He also retied from Walker's Mens Clothing Store as the Top Salesman after 30 years. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Barberton, K.S.K.J Lodge 110 where he was financial secretary for over 30 years and on the K.S.K.J. National Board of Directors. Joe was also a member of K of C Council 1617 and a proud Army Veteran having served during WWII. Preceded in death by his parents Ignatz and Lucia; sisters Mary, Frances, Agnes and Teresa; Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Marie A; children Marcy (Tim) Sovacool, Ann (Fuzzy) Lukezic, Therese (Bill) Suliks, Cynthia (Mike) Morgan, Joe (Barb) Pancar and Joanne (Scott) Randolph; 14 Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren; brother Edward (Gladys) Pantzar; sisters Mildred Groom, Dorothy (Tony) Mihelic and Evelyn Pantzar; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 23, 2010, 11 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton. Rev. Robert Jackson celebrant. Calling Hours Sunday from 4-7 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 10:30 AM. Burial will take place TUESDAY at 11:30 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Procession to form at the funeral home at 10:45 AM. Memorials may be made to the K.S.K.J.
