Judith K. (Sekerak) Alberts

Judith K. “Judi” Alberts, 76, passed away March 16, 2025.

Judi was born in Barberton and was an area resident all her life where she retired from AT & T as a computer programmer after 30 years of service. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Judi loved gardening and had a love for animals, especially dogs.

Preceded in death by her husband Sherwin “Woody” in 2022; and parents Leonard and Helen Sekerak; She is survived by her daughter Julie Corona; grandsons Christian and Armani; brother James Sekerak; and close friend Debby Walasek.

Judi’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
