Karen L. Struckel

BARBERTON---Karen L. Struckel, 69, passed away May 28, 2015. Karen was born in Barberton where she was a life resident. She was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and was dedicated to helping people. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where she was active in the choir and baking nut rolls and strudel. Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Theresa; Survivors include her son Martin; her "grandchildren" Dylan, Devyn and Daryn; brothers Charles and Edward Struckel; sisters Rita Woodall and Rose Marie Eggert; and numerous other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic church, 1263 Shannon Ave. Fr. Robert Jackson, celebrant. Calling Hours Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
