Katherine J. Fern

Katherine J. Fern, born 12/01/1961, beloved mother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025.

Kathy graduated from Barberton High School in 1980. She was the epitome of kindness, the sweetest person that everyone loved.  She was cherished by her son Michael (Alexis) and also survived by her brothers Jason Canada (Melissa), Dale Fern (Theresa), Donnie Fern (Colleen) and Rusty Fern (Beth) and cousin Shelly Ruffner along with numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews - each whom holds dear memories of her warmth and laughter. She also leaves behind her mother Madaline Canada, who cherished their special bond. Kathy's love extended into the next generation through her treasured grandchildren Dylan Fern (Destini) and Olivia Calhoun, whom she adored beyond measure. Kathy was preceded in death by her father Dale Fern, stepfather Herbert Canada and brother Robbie Fern (Tammy).

A private celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date.
