Kathy S. Matozel

NEW FRANKLIN--Kathy S. Matozel, 59, passed away April 20, 2014 at her residence.


Kathy was born in Barberton and was a life resident of the area where she retired from Barberton Citizens Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She was a member St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and the Norton Gardening Club. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army.


Preceded in death by her husband Dennis P. in 2011; parents John and Helen Baker; and brother Jim Baker; Survivors include her daughters Jennifer and Michelle Matozel; brothers John E. (Leann) and Ken (Joyce) Baker; and brother-in-law Michael Matozel.


Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.
