PORT ORANGE, FL---Kenneth E. Antonson, 87, of Port Orange, FL passed away October 29, 2013.

He was born in Windom, Minnesota to the late Gustav S. and Hulda A. Antonson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II and the Korean War. Kenneth graduated from the University of Minnesota and began his career with the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company where he met and married his late wife Mildred. He spent 34 years with Firestone working in Ohio, Indiana, Portugal, Sweden and Liberia. He retired in 1987 and spent 26 years in Port Orange pursuing his love of gardening, poker and crosswords. Kenneth was a member of various civic organizations such as the Elks, American Red Cross and the Noblesville Masonic Lodge 57 where he was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Surviving are his son Daniel (Terri) Antonson; daughter Darleen (Louis) Weinsheimer; grandson Michael (Suzanne) Weinsheimer; granddaughter Amy Weinsheimer; and sister Louise Hecker.

Funeral Service will be at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. W., Barberton. Pastor Michael Somerville officiating. Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Monday. Calling Hours Sunday from 2 - 4 P.M. with a Masonic Service at 3:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials my be made to the American Red Cross.
