Kenneth M Harrold

BARBERTON---Kenneth M. Harrold, "V Point 1", 50 passed away June 21, 2010 at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Akron he had been an area resident all his life where he was the owner of Harrold Machine in Barberton for over 20 years. He was a friend to many. Kenny's word was gold. He held high respect for the WORKING MAN and anything MADE IN THE USA and would always choose AMERICAN MADE when available. He loved his race cars and generously gave them to special people to enjoy. Everybody loved to hang out with Kenny at the shop. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Donna; and brother Randall; survivors include his fiance' Noreen Smith; brothers Robert (Barb), William and Barry; sisters Bonnie Louk and Tamara Oakes; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend Jeff (Ruth) Uhall; other good friends Tom (Katie) Thrower, the Croft Family; Roy (Betty) Trout, Paula Kline and the Neidert Family. He also leaves his "Doggy Dog." Special thanks to all his friends and all the people who have helped with his care especially the nurses and staff at VNS Hospice. Calling Hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Cremation to follow.
