Kenneth M. Mathes

Kenneth Michael Mathes, age 49, passed away unexpectedly alongside his wife of almost 30 years, Lisa Mathes, on December 4th, 2020. Kenneth was born to Clara and Ralph Mathes on July 24th, 1971 in Akron, OH. He was a 1989 graduate of Garfield High School. Kenny spent most of his life as a mechanic and truck driver and later on attended tech school and became a diesel mechanic.

He is survived by his father, Ralph Mathes; mother, Clara Mathes; son, Kurtis; daughter, Kaela(Andrew Fitch) and granddaughter Adelynn; brother, Thomas Mathes (Sandy); sister, Susan Browning and grandmother, Mary Reed.

Calling hours for family and friends will be 11am-1pm at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Funeral Service at 1:00 pm with burial immediately following at Lakewood Cemetery.
