Kenneth E. Sakich, Sr

BARBERTON---Kenneth E. Sakich Sr., "Sooch", 74, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Kenny was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and retired from the Barberton Police Department after 25 years as a police officer. He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Barberton and the F.O.P. #13. Preceded in death by his parents Eli and Mary; Father and Mother-in-law John and Helen Anushock; sisters Dorothy Allen and Marie Campbell; daughter-in-law April Sakich; grandson Joshua Boyes; and brothers-in-law Fred Brown, Dennis DeWitt and Ronald Large; He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Linda A.; sons Kenneth Jr. of Doylestown and Christopher of Wadsworth; daughter Lisa (Gary) Boyes of Wadsworth; grandchildren Clay and Peyton Sakich and Molly and Garrett Boyes; sisters-in-law Janet DeWitt, Diane Lynn and Helen Large; brothers-in-law Garry Campbell and John (Debbie) Anushock; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 3-5 P.M. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 P.M. with Don Bolich officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
