NEW FRANKLIN---Kenny Wanko, age 60, passed away on March 11, 2016, following a 12- year battle with cancer that he fought with fierce strength and grace. He refused to give up. Born and raised in Seville, Kenny is survived by his wife Pam, his son Jeremiah and daughters Lisa Beans (Tom) and Jonise Barry; grandchildren Maddie Dasho (his Sweetie Pie), Nick and Caitlin Beans; his parents, Merle and Norma and brothers Butch (Urs) and Jim (Mary); and in-laws Eugene and Lois Jackson, Cindy Mazzagatti and Reggie Jackson (Chris); many nieces and nephews. Kenny, a devoted husband, loving father, an avid outdoorsman and diehard Browns, Cavs, Indians and Ohio State fan, was a longtime employee of Albert Screenprint and so appreciated their support and especially the loyal friendship of Rose and Maurice. The family is also grateful for the wonderful care and support from Dr. Hazra and Jaimee, and Annie of Summa Hospice. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. W., Barberton. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016, 10a.m. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 9282 Acme Rd., Seville. Interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Marshallville. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to your favorite charity. “A life that touches others goes on forever.”
