Kerry L. Duncan, 73, passed away peacefully at his home on September 7th, 2026 with his loving wife, Tamara, by his side. Born in Akron on February 25th, 1953, to the late E. Lee and E. Jean Duncan. Kerry graduated from Manchester High School and attended Walsh College where he earned a degree in Accounting. He dedicated over 20 years of his career as a bookkeeper for Oil Skimmers.
Kerry had a deep appreciation for the simpler things in life, finding joy in reading; he could often be found with a good book. He also enjoyed bird watching, a passion he shared with his mom and dad. An enthusiastic explorer, he traveled across the United States participating in Volkswalking hikes. Kerry and his wife also loved to travel, embarking on memorable bus trips to destinations like Texas, Nashville TN, and New Orleans, as well as an unforgettable journey to Ireland. He was a devoted, longtime member of Lockwood United Methodist Church, Lakemore United Methodist Church, and most recently Sawyerwood Global Methodist Church.
Kerry was preceded in death by his parents E. Lee and E. Jean Duncan, grandparents Harry and Elva Funkhouser, and Silas and Daisy Duncan. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Tamara (Tammi) Duncan, stepchildren Michael (Christina) Miller and Tara (Matthew) Blake, and beloved grandchildren Wesley, Marshall, Lucas Blake, and Gabby Proctor.
Like the Volkswalks he loved so much, Kerry has completed his journey here, stepping peacefully onto the next trail in Heaven. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his memory remain a guiding light for all who knew him.
