Kimberly Ann Knowles

Kimberly Ann Knowles (9/13/1955 -8/19/2022) passed away at her residence surrounded by family & friends after a courageous battle against cancer.  She was preceded in death by her father, Otto Knowles and her sister & brother-in-law, Toni & Bruce Snyder. Kim is survived by her mother, Donna Knowles and niece/nephew Wendy & Brad Luck with their children Caleb & Samantha. Kim was born & raised in Barberton, OH. Her family attended Barberton Friends Church where she was introduced to her savior Jesus Christ. She continued to serve the Lord at Alliance Friends Church.  Kim was blessed to spend the past years serving alongside an amazing praise & worship team at AFC, opening her home to neighbors for Bible Study, and planning retreats. Kim graduated from Barberton High School in 1974. In 1985 she graduated from Malone College & started her 30 year career in education at Alliance City Schools. In retirement she worked at Hartville Kitchen, then returned to West Branch as a middle school counselor for one more year. She enjoyed traveling, especially to North Carolina to see family & life long friends Theresa & Jacelyn. Kim always had an encouraging word, a surprise snack or a silly adventure to brighten others’ day.  Though she will be greatly missed, we can all learn through her example of faith in Christ.
