Lenora A. Homan

BARBERTON---LeNora A. Homan, 78, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2013 at Summa Barberton Hospital. Born in Akron, she had been a Barberton resident most of her life where she was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. LeNora was also a member of Slovak Catholic Sokols Club 167 and the Hungarian Club. She was an avid bowler and loved camping with her family at Pike's Peak. Most of all she loved spending time with all her grandbabies. Preceded in death by her husband Sam; and mother Ida B. Smith; Survivors include her children, Tom (Nancy), Tim (Doug), Terri Leatherman (Mike), Tami (Tim) Crooks, Toni (Rick) Tichon and Todd (Cari); 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sisters Shirley Lynne Carroll and Karlene Joann Scott; and close friends Cheryl Straley, Mary Pinokavar and Dixie Juersivich. Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd, 2nd Floor, Bethesda, MD, 20814.
