Linda E. Wilson

Linda E. Wilson, age 82, died April 29, 2022.  Born in Akron, Ohio on July 12, 1939 to the late Harold Hartline and Ella Rauch (maiden name Allebach).  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, bother Paul Hartline, sister Lorna Hartline Adams and her beloved husband of 65 years, Paul, who passed away on October 23, 2021.
Linda was devoted to her immediate family, extended family and many dear friends during her lifetime.  Linda leaves behind her daughters Theresa Gardner (Christopher Matyus) and Lorna Wilson; grandchildren Eric Gardner (Betsy Gardner), Kendra Gardner (Matt Earley) and Christian Lepley; great grandchildren Averie Gardner and Ace Gardner.
Family and friends meant everything to Linda.  She took great pride in her home and yard.  The door was always open for anyone to stop by and no one went away hungry.  People remember her as a mom, grandmother, girl scout leader, PTA mom, pet mom and great listener.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas.  She spent weeks decorating her home and baking Christmas cookies to be shared with family and friends.  Together with her husband, Paul, they hosted the best patio, pool and 4th of July parties.  She boasted about all of our accomplishments and was there to soothe skinned knees and hearts.  She will be greatly missed.  May she be at peace in heaven.
A private service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Francis De Sales Parish 4019 Manchester Rd Akron OH 44319, the Humane Society of Summit County or Southern Care Hospice Services 3575 Forest Lake Dr, Ste. 550 Uniontown, OH 44685.
