Lois F. Ocepek

Lois F. Ocepek (nee Johnson), 87, passed away at Summa Barberton Hospital on Friday November7, 2014. She was born September 28, 1927 in Clinton to the late Perry & Hazel Johnson (Cox). She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Victor Ocepek, in 1976; sister, Evelyn Matozel; brothers Harold, Fred & Perry Johnson, son-in-law, Jim Wade & granddaughter, Jennipher.


She was a very loving and fun person who never met a stranger. She leaves her four children, Victoria

Wade; Thomas Ocepek; Daniel (Connie) Ocepek; and Christine (Mike) Fano. Grandchildren, Lesley Moughler, Todd (Beth) Wade, Heather Ocepek, Chad, Justin & Jason Fano. Great grandchildren, Mitchell, Ashley, Emily, Brittany and Chloe. Many dear nieces & nephews & sister-in-law Milly Spetich & special friend, Fran Blanar.


Special thanks to all her devoted care givers at Doylestown Health Care Center, especially Stephanie, Tracy & Jessica. Also to the caregivers at BCH and Dr. Douglas Wenger. A grateful appreciation to her caregivers at home, Chris & Phyllis. Also the visits at home of Dot, Mick & Stephanie and nephew, Mike Matozel. She loved all of you.


Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Pastor Robert Combs officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
