Lorene R. (Middlecoop) Struckel

BARBERTON---Lorene R. Struckel, 84, passed away November 15, 2016 at the Sanctuary Health Care Magnolia of Wadsworth. She was born in Akron and lived most of her life in Barberton.  Lorene was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and K.S.K.J. Lodge #110. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, flowers and helping her son run Struckel Landscaping. Preceded in death by her husband William; parents Anthony and Gertrude Middlecoop; son in law Bill Stopar Jr.; brother Anthony; sisters Helen Perkins and Mary Wise; and grandson Danny.  She is survived by daughters Diane Stopar and Laurie Struckel; son Tim (Renee) Struckel; grandchildren Travis Stopar and Kaitlyn Struckel and sister Jeanette Jones. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and Sanctuary Health Care Magnolia for the care they gave our mother. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton.  Fr. Robert Jackson, celebrant.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Calling hours Sunday from 3-6 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 9:30 A.M.
