Lucille M. Mack

Lucille M. Mack passed away February 11, 2024. She was born April 26, 1932 in Copley, Ohio and was a graduate of Copley High School in 1950. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 1954 from Saint John College, Cleveland, Ohio, a Master of Science Nursing Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit in 1969 and attended post graduate studies at Ohio State University 1970-73. Most of her nursing career was spent in teaching and administration. She retired from the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in 1993. Lucille was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Norton, the Alter Guild, Auxiliary Legion of Mary and Prayer Line.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dolores (Gill) and Camillus Mack; sister, Sister Jean Mack, Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis; brother-in-law, Tom Shuber and niece Mary Parker. She is survived by her sister, Gerry Shuber; nephew, Tim (Cheryl) Shuber; niece, Ann (Mike) Ballard; four great nephews, Ben, Alex, Jake and Aaron; five great nieces, Rose (TK), Katie, Abby (Ricky), Heidi and Haley; and one great-great niece, Hannah.

Private graveside services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery with a Memorial Mass at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, PO Box 305, Stevens Point, WI 54481, or St. Andrew The Apostle Church, 4022 Johnson Road, Norton, OH 44203
