BARBERTON---Margaret M. Evans, 87, passed away October 21, 2014 at the Doylestown Health Care Center Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Marge was a life resident of Barberton. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Norton. Marge enjoyed golf, bowling, planting and taking care of her flower beds. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her brother Frank Slimak; and sister Justine Penalba; Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Eugene; son Richard; daughter Nancy (Marty) Arvay; grandchildren Mike (Devon) Evans, Jeff (Holly) Evans, Alyssa (Kevin) Hedrick, Jackie (Drew) Koncz and Amanda (Rob) McKee; and great-grandchildren, Grace, Addison and Sophia Evans, Olivia and Lauren Evans, Isabelle and Corbin Hedrick, Andrew and Mason Koncz and Brody McKee. The family wishes to thank the staff at Doylestown Health Care Center and Hospice of Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 A.M on Friday, October 24, 2014, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd., Norton. Fr. James Maloney celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd.
