BARBERTON---Margaret Kumse passed on to her greater reward on January 20, 2015 at the age of 91. She is survived by her three children, Robert (Marian Workman) Kumse of Baton Rouge, LA., Patricia (Jose) Aragon of Coral Gables, FL. and Deborah (Paul) Berger of Norcross, Ga. She has seven Grandchildren and five Great-grandchildren. Margie also had six surviving siblings of a family of ten, three younger Brothers and three younger Sisters. She was preceded in death by husband of sixty-seven years, Tony Kumse.
Marge was, throughout her life, a great example of dedication to her parents and her family. She learned during the Great Depression the value and benefits of hard work. She worked as a painter of porcelain figurines at Coventry Wear to contribute to the Moritz family finances, helping to pay off the family house mortgage. She continue this family dedication when necessary as a cook and shipping clerk at Lectromelt Casting so the family could to weather strikes and provide college educations to her children. Her children are indebted to her for her sacrifice. Marge was also a longtime member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Her attitude of service to her family which instilled in her children and grandchildren will extend her contribution to society long after her funeral. Her reward in heaven will be great. Thank you Mom.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. ALL at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Church.
