Margaret J. Savage

BARBERTON---Margaret J. Savage, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 17, 2013 at Summa Barberton Hospital.


Marge was born in Murray City, Ohio and was a Barberton resident most of her life where she was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was a child care provider for many children over the years. Marge was very proud of the fact that she was able to be a part of and help raise her grandchildren.


Preceded in death by her husband Clair W. Jr.; infant son Tommy; son Charles; and two brothers and four sisters; Survivors include her sons Bob (Candy) of Barberton and Bill (Christine) of Canal Fulton; grandchildren Janice (Travis) Jennings, Ben Savage, Rob (Amanda) Savage, Nick (Jennifer) Savage, Karen (Joel) Echelberger, Amanda Savage (fiancAC.e Tommy Withem), Julie Savage, Laura Rucker and Andrew Savage; great-grandchildren Travis II, Elise and Mikaila Jennings, Oscar and Lillian Rucker, Mallory and Max Echelberger, Tommy Withem and Jack Savage; and brother James (Dorothy) Ulichney of Wadsworth; brother-in-law Kenneth Savage; and former daughter-in-law Beverly Savage.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:45 A.M. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW., Barberton. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday from 3-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 10:15 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
