Marjory Ann Morgan (Reed), 85, passed away on December 20, 2023.
She was born in Akron on May 9, 1938 to Welcome and Gladys P. Reed. Marjory was a life time resident of Barberton and graduated from the Barberton High School Class 1956. She married Richard Scott Morgan the love of her life in 1966. Marjory worked at Ric-Wil Inc. and then Babcock & Wilcox for 34 years retiring in September of 2000.She attended Lakeview United Methodist Church and lately Grace Church, Norton. She loved to bake, work puzzles and spend time with family and she volunteered as the Treasurer for the Austin Villas for many years.

Preceded in death by her parents; Welcome and Gladys P. Reed; Husband, Richard S. Morgan; sisters; Lois Brown & Estella (Teddy) Jameson; She is survived by her daughter Julie (John) Wallace; son Neil S. Morgan; grandchildren Elise Morgan, Jacob Wallace, Zachary Wallace and Griffin Morgan all of Barberton; sisters; Dorothy Bischoff of Barberton and Elizabeth Smith of Lakeland Florida; special nieces whom she helped raise, Kathryn Graham, Kim Petroff, Kelly (Kevin) Schwiger and Rebecca Petroff; and many other nieces and nephews.
Marjory’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home. Kevin Schwiger, officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit, 525 E. Market St Suite 3-E, Akron, OH 44304.
