Mark Stephen Gasper, 64, passed away February 23rd, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen J. and Angelina M. Gasper. He is survived by his siblings Mary (Bryan) Wemyss, Dan Gasper, and Dave (Natasha) Gasper, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nephews. Mark was a resident of Norton his entire life. He was a parishoner at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Barberton where he was an usher and a member of the Holy Hour Program for 25 years. He was employed at Giant Eagle formally known as Riser foods in the accounting department for over 25 years. Mark enjoyed watching old movies, spending time with family, suffering through watching the Cleveland Browns, Guardians, Cavaliers, and Buckeyes. Mark's hobbies included collecting coins and sports cards, reading, and bungee jumping. Mark was the family historian, a human calculator, and a 5 star chef.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 12-1 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
