BARBERTON---Mary Blazewicz

Blazewicz, Mary B. 94, long time Barberton resident passed away on December 19, 2022. Preceded in death by husband Andrew, father and mother Frank and Louise Balino, sister Dolores (aka Nita) and many family and friends.  Survived by children Frank Blazewicz (Jan), Beth Davis (Tom), Andrew Blazewicz (Roxann) and Christine Morlan, 12 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Mary deeply loved her husband.  She loved her large family, good friends, conversations, singing, dancing (had tried out for NYC Rockettes), cooking and so much more.  Mary worked as a librarian and retired an admissions manager in 1989 from Akron University.  She was active in many organizations including her church, the Summit County Board of Elections, Children’s and Weathervane Theatres and the Food Bank.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave. Norton.  Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Calling Hours Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  To share a memory or send a condolence, please visit www.silva-hostetler.com
