Mary E. Dubovec

BARBERTON---Mary Dubovec, 93, passed from this life on
Sunday March 27, 2011.

Mary retired from Babcock and Wilcox after many years in
food services there. Prior to that she
was employed in the food preparation business at several area restaurants and
had also worked at Sun Rubber. She was
an avid Cleveland Indians fan and was a long time member of Sts. Cyril and
Methodius Catholic Church until its closing.
Mary loved reading. The sudden total loss of her vision a few years back
was a dilemma. The talking book services
program was a great comfort.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Martin; she will be
missed by her son and daughter-in-law Marty and Chris Dubovec of North
Carolina; daughter and son-in-law Mary and Larry Greene of Cincinnati;
grandchildren Mike (Nan) Greene, Laurie Greene, Diane (Chris) Pittman, David
Dubovec and Jim (Krissy) Dubovec; seven great grandchildren; and numerous
nieces, nephews and friends.

The family gives our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Erica
Sobolewski and the staffs of Pleasant View and Barberton Hospice and Palliative
Care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M., Thursday,
March 31, 2011 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave,
Norton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial
Park. Calling Hours will be held
Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd.
West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Thursday morning at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
the Ohio Library for the Blind, 17121 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland, OH
