Mary L. Gleghorn

CLINTON- Mary Louise Gleghorn, 82, passed away April 3, 2015 at The Inn at University Village. Mary Louise was born in Clinton, Ohio, where she resided most of her life. She was a member of both St. Georges Parish of Clinton and St. Phillips and James of Canal Fulton. Mary Louise was a graduate of Clinton High School and attended The University of Akron. She was a long time employee of Columbia Chemical/PPG. Mary was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing. She was a member of The Clinton Historical Society, poll worker, and PSR teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, George C. and Ruth Smith; brother George C. Smith Jr. and sister Gloria Zadel. Survivors include her husband, David; son, Walter (Connie Krell); daughter, Catherine (Robert) Jones; grandchildren Zachary, Natalie, and Cate Jones; nephew, Gary(Amy) Smith; and niece Mary Ruth Smith. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, 412 High St., Canal Fulton. Fr. Kevin McCaffrey celebrant. Interment at Clinton Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:15 A.M.
