BARBERTON---Mary J. Kozarevich (nee Erzen), 86, passed away May 29, 2012 at Akron General Medical Center. Mary was born on Christmas day in Akron and true to her birth date, was a gift to all who loved her. She was a graduate of Akron South High School and was a Barberton resident most of her life. While always a homemaker. She was previously employed at Ohio Edison and Senior Friends. She was a former member of S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and current member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and St. Anne's Society. Mary was a devoted wife and mother. Her life was one of love and service to her family and she was blessed with a gentle passing. We will miss her until we meet again. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph; parents Anthony and Mary; sister Ann Trenta; and brother William Erzen; Survivors include her children Marcie (Frank) Obreza, Mark (Karen), Michael, Martin (Stephanie), Mel, and Marla (Fred) DiFilippo; loving grandchildren Amy (Robert) Clark, Janine (Aaron) Brown, Matthew (Amy) Obreza, Madeline and Nick DiFilippo, Amber (Alan) Berry, Scott (Erin) West and Kyle (Liz) Illingworth; precious great-grandchildren Alexis, Conner, Garrett, Parker, Aiden, Preston, Gavin, Mackenzie, Alan, Autumn, Averiana and Austin; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian will be held Monday, June 4, 2012, 11:00 A.M. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Rev. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Rosary at 7:30 P.M. Morning Prayers will be said on Monday at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
