Mary Elizabeth Lee

CANAL FULTON---Mary Elizabeth Lee, 83, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2012.

Born in Akron, she had been an area resident all her life where she retired from Kroger Grocery Store after 20 years of service. Mary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Akron and enjoyed playing cards, baking and most of all spending time with her family.


Preceded in death by her husband Robert E.; sister Jeanne Hamrick; and brothers Bob, Jim, David and Bill Wilson; Survivors include her loving daughter Ginger (Bob) Parsons of Canal Fulton; "adopted" daughter Karen Virde; grandchildren Dr. Amy (A.J.) Hite, Dr. Jason (Gloria) Watson, Sarah (Jeff) Miller and step-grandchildren Robert Jr. (Samantha) Parsons, Mary (Gene Zyrini) Parsons and Meg (Rob) Himes; great grandchildren Bobby, Jaden, Dominic, Corinne, Cordelia, Isabella, and Abby; and her dear sister and best friend Donna (David) Whitmire of Kenmore.


The family wishes to thank Hospice of Summa and all the people from the Mormon church who visited her regularly.


Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 3-5 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where the funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
