Mary M. (Kubala) Mcalister

Our precious angel has fallen asleep

Mary M. McAlister, nee Kubala, 94, passed away October 23, 2016.

Preceded in death by husband Milton, sons Larry and Tom, grandson John Michael and special companion, Lucy.

Survived by daughters Elizabeth, Kathleen and Mary Lou (Richard), son John, and the love of her life, granddaughter Michelle (Marko), great granddaughter Shanna, grandsons Tommy and Tommy Jon, and lifelong very special family friend, Sue Kilbourne.

We want to thank all of the nurses and caregivers at ManorCare and Summa Hospice for their love and dedication shown to Mom.

“REST WELL OUR BEAUTIFUL ANGEL, HEAVEN IS A BETTER PLACE WITH YOUR PRESENCE.  WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR WORDS, “DON’T CRY BECAUSE  IT’S OVER, SMILE BECAUSE I AM FREE OF PAIN AND MY SUFFERING IS DONE”.  WE WILL LOVE YOU AND CHERISH YOUR MEMORY EVERYDAY OF OUR LIVES.”

A time of visitation will be offered on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 9-10 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Avenue, Norton. Private family burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or PAWSibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron.
