Mary C. Pudis

BARBERTON---Mary C. Pudis (nee Spetich), 86, passed away October 13, 2012 at the Hospice Care Center. Mary was born in Barberton where she was a life resident and a member of the former S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Rosary Society, Domovina Lodge, S.N.P.J. 626 and K.S.K.J. 110. Preceded in death by her husband Leo; son David; brothers John and Louie; and sister Frances Valencheck; Survivors include her daughter Bernadette Pudis of Barberton; son Joe (Joyce) of California; grandchildren Shannon (Jay) Capela and David (Tracy) Pudis; six great-grandchildren; brother Frank (Betty) Spetich; sisters-in-law Jan and Millie Spetich; and many nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be 10 AM. to 11 A.M on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Fr. John Valencheck celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials my be made to St. Sebastian Church or School, 476 Mull Ave., Akron, OH 44320.
