Michael E. Clegg

Michael E. Clegg, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 16, 2013. Born in Canton he was an area resident all his life where he retired from Rubber City Steel and also worked at numerous other places. He was a proud Army Veteran and was like a father to numerous people. Preceded in death by his parents Guy and Agnes; wife Catherine L.; sons Robby L. and Michael E. II; granddaughter Christina Coon; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his daughters Tammie (Bill) Young; Cheryl (Glenn) Flight; Vonda Kay (Butch) Clegg; Melissa Clegg (Ron); "adopted daughter" Christina A. Speck (E); daughter-in-law Becky Ninni; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Bob Clegg (Willie), William (Joy) Clegg and Jim Collmar "Curly"; "loving companion" "Tata"; and a host of other relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home.
