Michael Joey Jerin

BARBERTON---Michael "Joey" Jerin, 53, passed away June 16, 2011 with his family by his side. Born in Pennsylvania, he had been a Barberton resident most of his life where he retired from Pigott Industries as the Plant Manager with over 30 years of service. He was a graduate of Barberton High School and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Joey enjoyed working on his home improvement projects and caring for and supporting his family. He was also an avid Steelers fan. Survivors include his wife of 22 years. Lisa; daughter Stephanie Jerin; son Michael Jerin; parents Leonard and Joan Jerin; sister Denise Greathouse; and niece and nephew Angela and James Jerin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 A.M. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW., Barberton. Rev. David Majikas celebrant. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
