Michael J. Ocepek

Michael J. Ocepek, 55, passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2026.

Mike was born in Barberton where he was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1990. He was an area resident all his life where he was a driver for UPS. Mike loved weightlifting, fishing and Ohio State football.

Preceded in death by his mother Linda; He is survived by his daughter Kylie Rose Ocepek; fiancé’ Nikki Dorco; father Michael W.; brother Eric (Michelle); sister Jaime Iceman; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kylie to help with her future. Per Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
