Michael P. Ryan

Michael P Ryan, 64, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on the 17th day of May, 2020.

Mike was a long time resident of Barberton and he loved the city very much. Mike was an avid sports fan and was always rooting for his favorite teams- Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. For many years, Mike enjoyed bowling in several leagues (he bowled several 300 games!) and attending concerts (Todd Rudgren was his “main man”) with his buddies.

Mike had a great sense of humor and an extraordinary amount of patience and knowledge. He was kind and caring and always put others before himself. Those who knew him know that his family was his greatest joy in life.

Mike is survived by his daughter Kalley, step-daughter Karisty,step-son Brendan and his 4 grandsons Ethan, Connor, Cole and Camdyn. He is also survived by his brothers, Frank (Buddy) Ryan, Jim Ryan, his aunt Patricia Eisenhut as well as many nephews, cousins and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Tom Ryan, his mother, Marjorie Ryan, sister Donna Gadel and brothers Bill and Shawn Ryan.

A celebration of life will be held on a date that has yet to be determined.
