Michaila L. Ligas

NORTON - Michaila Lynn Ligas, 21, passed away on August 14, 2019. Michaila was born on September 7, 1997, in New Franklin, Ohio, to her parents Frank D. Ligas and Jean A. Ligas.

Michaila was best known for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, sense of humor and compassion for others. She was always there for anyone who needed her, with a positive attitude and willingness to help. Michaila dearly loved her nieces and nephews: Kade, Leo, Easton, Michael, Lexi, Jonathan, Alana, and Jason. They brought her so much joy. Michaila loved God and her entire family with all her heart. She also enjoyed thunderstorms, reading, swimming, and listening to music. Michaila dreamed of going to Ireland, and was blessed with the opportunity to visit there twice thanks to her sisters Anna and Rachel. She wanted to travel the world.

Michaila is preceded in death by her grandparents Peter and Margaret Ligas; aunts Karen Bechdel and Sue Ligas; and uncle Chris Ligas.

Michaila is survived by her loving parents; siblings Frank (Melissa) Ligas, David Ligas (fiancée Linda Chanthaboune), Rebecca Ligas, Jonathan Ligas (fiancée Taylor Neely), Rachel Ligas, Anna Ligas, Amanda Ligas, and Megan Ligas; grandparents Robert (Bob) and Earlene Lower; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
