Mildred M. (Caulder) Danford

Mildred M. Danford, 70, passed away December 24, 2023 with her family by her side. Mildred was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Willoughby and Edna Caulder. She worked as a CNA for Northeast Professional Home Care. Millie loved fishing, and the smell of the water. She loved spending time with her family and loved family get togethers very much, as family was very important to her. She waited patiently and excitedly for her new great grandchild to make his appearance. When he did, she was content.  Millie was a big part of her church community and walked closely with God. She was an ordained Minister and enjoyed every minute of studying the Bible. She fought until her very last breath with Stage 4 brain cancer, outliving any date physicians tagged her with. Millie will be missed by all of her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Donnie, Buddy and Jessie Caulder and Buddy Adams; She is survived by her loving husband Floyd Daniel Danford; children Gina (Ted) Male, Willie (Michelle) Cahoon and Daniel (Heather) Danford; grandchildren Aaron (Marysa) Male, Alana Male, Tristan Cahoon and Helena Danford; great-grandson Jameson Male; and sister Bernice Grooms. Mildred’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Pastor Jeff Ball, officiating. Private Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours will be Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the service time.
