Monica M. (Moritz) Kindel

Monica M. Kindel, nee (Moritz), passed away August 23, 2024.

Monica was born in Barberton where she was a lifelong resident and retired from Albert Screen Print. She was a member of Prine of Peace Catholic Church, loved watching her son David play sports and all Barberton Sports. She was a avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. She spent many years working the concession stands at the little league fields while her husband Mike coached and her son played.

Preceded in death by her parents, Titus and Mary Moritz; her beloved husband, Mike; brothers, Richard, John, Emory “Jim” and Jerome Moritz, sisters, Marge, Rosie, Ethel and Anne Moritz. She is survived by daughter, Michelle Taylor; son, David (Annette) Kindel, grandchildren Natalie Taylor, Shawn (Julie) Ashworth, Kirsten (Brad) Hamilton, Michael Kindel (Kylie) and Chelsea Kindel (Richard Peak); great-grandchildren, Alexis, Taylor, Cooper and Hadley Hamilton, Myles Kindel and James Abraham Peak; and brother David Moritz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Road W., and One Hour Prior to the Funeral Mass at the church on Wednesday.
