Myrtle M. Weese

NORTON---Myrtle M. Weese, 83, passed away November 28, 2010 at the Hospice Care Center in Copley. Born in Long, WV she had been a Norton resident for the past 59 years where she retired from Acme after 10 years of service. Myrtle was an avid reader and enjoyed doing needle work and making various crafts with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Missouri Shockey; infant son Dewain Weese; four sisters and four brothers; Survivors include her daughters Ruth (Daryl) Nine-Duff of Akron and Ann Weese-Stein of New Philadelphia; sons Kenneth (Kelly) Weese of Akron and Eric (Debra) Weese of Doylestown; grandsons Joshua and Craig Nine; granddaughter Morgan Stein, brother Neal (Edna) Shockey, sister Martha (Bill) Thornhill and numerous nieces and nephews.


Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010, 2:30 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours One Hour Prior to service time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or VNS Hospice.
