NADINE L. BILLY, age 63, unexpectedly passed away on March 24, 2013 at her home in Painesville, Ohio. Nadine graduated from Norton High School in 1967 then earned a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Kent State University. She served two years as a Probation Officer for Portage County Juvenile Court, and then joined the Lake County Court system as a Juvenile Probation Officer until her 2011 retirement. Nadine also served as a board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lake County and worked with the Rape Crisis Hotline of Forbes House in Lake County. Surviving her are two brothers, two sisters and their spouses: Stephen A. (Marjorie), John M. (Katherine), Andrea J. (Donald), Yvonne M. (Patrick); 5 nephews, 6 Nieces, 5 great nephews, 8 great nieces and 4 Godchildren. Nadine's life was intentional, motivated by her love for God her family and friends. The smile on her face was an external sign of the love and joy in her heart. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 13, 2013, 10:00 am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd., Norton, OH with Fr. James Maloney celebrant. Calling hours Friday, April 12, 2013 from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, OH Interment will be at St. Andrew Cemetery, 7700 Hoertz Rd., Parma, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nadine's name to the American Cancer Society.
