Nancy (Witwer) Horracks, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, with her loving family at her side.
Nancy was born in Barberton to William and Edith Witwer. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Norton and was a member of the Perpetual Adoration program at St. Augustine in Barberton for over 30 years. She lived faithfully and taught her children the importance of faith, love, and devotion.
She enjoyed gardening and caring for children which reflected her gentle and nurturing spirit. She cherished spending time with her family and found joy in cooking meals that brought everyone together. She treasured her weekly card games with her brothers filled with laughter and companionship.
Nancy is survived by daughters Vickie Harper of Dewitt, Virginia; Laura (Sean) Cramer of Norton; Peggy (Scott) Campbell of Norton; son, Brian (Stephanie) of Wadsworth. Siblings, Suzanne Smith; Connie Jackson; Bill, Rick, and Bob Witwer, along with 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and family friend and caregiver Liz Walker.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Harold (Bud), her son Harold (Buster), sisters Marilyn Haught, Joan Curtis, Elaine Richards, and Rosie Cummings, along with her parents William and Edith Witwer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd., Norton. Fr. James Maloney, celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday, from 4-7 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
