WADSWORTH---Natalie A. Doell (Healy) age 87, died on Saturday, July 31. She was born in Staten Island, NY where she attended New Dorp High School class in 1951. She went on to graduate from St. Mary's College class of 1955, this is where he met her loving husband Philip, whom she married in Staten Island in April 1956. He said "she was the most loving person I've ever known."
She was an active volunteer, gourmet cook, and student of ballet where she was in local performances of the Nutcracker. She was a 50 year member of FISH, a local interfaith charitable organization, an OASIS tutor at Overlook Elementary School for 26 years, participated in the CYO Search program kitchen crew, home meetings, and poster parties. Natalie was an active member of Prince of Peace and was in the Good News Choir for 25 years. Natalie also produced WCTV and "RSVP" senior information programs. She volunteered in her children's school activities and attended their sports, but usually didn't know the score. Too busy talking to other spectators.
Natalie is preceded in death by all 8 siblings, her parents, and infant son Jeffry. She is survived by husband Phil, children Susan Doell, Steve Doell (Peggy), Melissa Baker (HJ) Spanish daughter Edith Almanar, 4 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.
Calling Hours will be on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Wadsworth FISH or Amnesty International.
