Norma Jean Catlin

Norma Jean Catlin age 92 was given to the Lord with grace on March 23, 2026 with her daughters by her side. Born April 25, 1933 in Barberton, Ohio to Walter and Gladys Butzer who proceeded her in death. Norma was also proceeded in death by her beloved husbands, Paul Robert Geary and Everett Arthur Catlin, her brothers Donald and Kenneth Butzer and her sister Donna Dent, and her cherished son Paul Robert Geary, Jr.

Norma was loved by so many family and friends. Family was most important to her, but she always had a room for more and made them all feel as if they were family. She touched so many lives with her kindness and spirit. Norma lived to love and loved to live. She had such a zest for life as an avid gardener, volunteer and a beachcomber. She loved to laugh dance, listen to music and to play cards and games with family and friends.

Norma is survived by her three daughters Conny (David) Mattle, Carmen (James) Raines and Kellie Geary Enstrom, her sister Jana (James) Hollingsworth and “GaGa’s” nine grandchildren, Brandi Mattle, David (Laura) Mattle, Brooke (Steve) Rankin, David Michael Kulcsar, Derrick (Taylor) Kulcsar, Daniel (Sylvia) Kulcsar, Lars Enstrom, Jr., Miles Enstrom and Lydia Enstrom as well as her fourteen great grandchildren.

Norma will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rishin Patel and his staff at Community Health Care and to Transitions Health and Hospice for providing her with compassionate end of life care, especially to nurse Diana.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church 5451 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd., Norton, Ohio 44203 at 11 AM with a luncheon to follow.
