Norma J. (Tucker) Richner

Norma Jean Richner of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, passed away peacefully and met her Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by her loving family on Sunday June 6, 2021 just 8 days shy of her 89th birthday.  Norma was born in Wooster, OH to Mildred and Willis Tucker. She was preceded in death by husbands Joseph Todd and Clyde Richner and grandson, Jeremiah Collins.   Norma is survived by her dear sister, Wanda Ryneer of NM, her loving daughters, Karen Sunderland (James Hylton) of Cleveland, and Becky (Dr. John) Suglio of Peninsula.   She was dearly loved by her grandchildren Robert (Wilda) Collins, Jr. of FL, Tricia (Philip) Dzierwa of Hudson, Bethany (Stephen) Milkovich of Akron, Jared (Marian) Watt of GA, and step-grandsons, David and Daniel Suglio of North Canton.  She will be missed by her great grandchildren, Alyssa Ives, Kayla (Zack) Cuenca, Brooke Collins, Meghan Rivera, Jeremiah Collins, Jr., Jay Collins, Maxwell Milkovich, Zachary Dzierwa, Adam Dzierwa, and Blake Dzierwa and Nola Jane Watt as well as great-great granddaughter, Layla Cuenca.  Norma is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Norma had an active and fulfilling life despite having polio at age 19.   She will be remembered as being very sweet, kind, outgoing and fun to be around.  She was an animal lover, especially dachshunds.   She was beautiful, well dressed and wore make up, jewelry and perfume until the day she passed. She had once been her church’s organist, she also played the piano, guitar and banjo.  She loved gospel and country music and collected thousands of albums and CDs.   She was well liked by everyone, and extremely close to her family.  She was the best mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her family and she will remain forever in our hearts.

Norma’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
