Patrice M. Lombardi passed away on July 23rd, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer and illness.
Patrice was born in Barberton, Ohio to Monica and Harold Krause, both of whom proceeded her in death. Patrice was a caregiver and nurturer, a nurse for over 30 years, caring for so many over her career. Most importantly, she was happily married for 40 years to the love of her life, Frank Lombardi and was a loving mother to her only beloved child, Audrianna Lombardi. Patrice would do anything for her family, and would often just show up to help no questions asked. She loved her home and the simple things that life had to offer. She was a kind, stoic woman who was proud of the life she built. She took pride in her daughter’s education as a pharmacist and watching her find love herself in adulthood. She will be incredibly and deeply missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lombardi, daughter Audrianna (Francesco D’Orazio) Lombardi, her sisters Diane (Doug) Wofsey, Annette (Mark) Werner, brother Harold (Melanie) Kasten-Krause, nieces, nephews, and so many other family members. The family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to her providers at Tricounty Hematology and Oncology, Cleveland Clinic Mercy, and the Cleveland Clinic for treating Patrice with the utmost respect and dignity, as if she was their own family.
Patrice's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. It was Patrice’s wish that in-lieu of flowers, a donation be made to St. Augustine’s Catholic parish in Barberton, The Little Pink Ribbon Girl Foundation, or to a charity of your choice. It is her family’s wish that donations also be made to an ovarian cancer foundation of your choice.
