Patricia S. (Mcelhaney) Coon

BARBERTON---Patricia S. Coon, 76, passed away April 8, 2021. Patricia was born in Akron and had been a Barberton resident most of her life. She was active as a PTA mom and grandma for many years at Johnson Elementary and enjoyed gardening and crafting.

Preceded in death by her parents Louis and Betty McElhaney; and sister Mary Ellen Clauss; She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, William C.; son William Jr.; daughter Sylvia (Carl) Hauenstein; grandchildren William III, Chelsea, Alec and Tisha; great grandchildren Brock and Mia; brother Louis McElhaney; and many friends.

Per her wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help defray medical expenses.
