Patricia A. (Kotnik) Jursik

BARBERTON---Patricia A. Jursik (nee Kotnik), 90, passed away June 19, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Pat was born in Cleveland and had been a Barberton resident all her life. She retired from the Babcock and Wilcox Co. after 22 years of service. She also worked at Yoder Bros., Seiberling Latex, and Sparkle Market. Pat was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, the Mother of Seven Sorrows Altar Society, KSKJ Lodge 111, the Slovene Pensioners and Domovina Lodge. She was a wonderful cook and baker, with her specialty being Potica. Pat also enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music with her husband.

Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Anna; and brother Larry Kotnik; She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Stefan; daughters Donna (Michael) Ciammaichella of Columbus, Patricia (Carl) Klaus of Norton and Marilyn (Dennis) Estrin of Chagrin Falls; grandchildren Andrew and Anthony Ciammaichella, Annette and Joey (Heather) Klaus and Rachel and Max Estrin; great-granddaughter Elaina Klaus; brother Don (Rochelle) Kotnik of Toledo; sister-in-law Elizabeth Kotnik of Barberton; godchildren Mary Ann Glasser and Denise Lay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Summa Palliative Care and Hospice at Akron City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave, Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours ONE HOUR PRIOR to the mass AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Church.
