Patrick J. Canfora

Patrick J. Canfora, 70, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 13, 2023. Pat was born March 17, 1952 to Vincent and Marion Canfora in Barberton where he attended school and played sports. He was a successful small business owner who loved to work. He often said God put him on earth to make the grass greener. Pat also enjoyed golf, drag racing, playing cards and most importantly spending times with his family and friends. He was a devoted member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and volunteered at several different organizations over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Marion and is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Terry; sons Vincent (Amy) and Patrick; daughter Marie (Kory); daughter-in-law Tabitha; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grand children, brother; Phil (Carol) Canfora and sister; Christine (Keith) Samples. He was extremely proud of his family and all their accomplishments. A special thank you to the angels at Arden Courts and Care Tenders who provided wonderful service to him and our family. Calling Hours for Pat will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Embrace Clinic and Care Center.
